In a seeming political permutations, alignments and re-allignments or possibly a ordinary courtesy visit, political gladiators in the country converged at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta to discuss with Chief Obasanjo.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Governor of Sokoto Aminu Tambuwal, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo are currently meeting behind closed doors in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.

At precisely 12:37 p.m., Atiku arrived at Obasanjo’s Abeokuta residence, which is located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

Other northern political heavyweights included Tambuwal, former Governor of Cross Rivers State, and Senator Liyel Imoke.

The elder statesman, Otunba Oyewole Fasawe, welcomed Atiku and his entourage to Obasanjo’s house upon their arrival.

They then proceeded straight upstairs to a private meeting with his former boss, Obasanjo, who had been waiting for them.

Although specifics of the visit were unknown at the time this report was filed, it was inferred that the meeting might not be unrelated to Atiku’s 2027 presidential ambition, especially given the caliber of the individuals involved.
