Forms for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry are now being sold by Remita, an indigenous payment business. This comes as the tertiary institution examination board formally declared on Monday that the forms would go on sale.
In Nigeria, university entrance exams are administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
The ePIN vending and direct entry application document sales will continue until April 7, 2025.
According to Chinedu Alisa, head of Remita’s enterprise assets team, the Remita’s collaboration with JAMB demonstrated its dedication to the advancement of education.
“With millions of transactions processed securely every year, we remain a trusted partner for educational institutions, students, and businesses. Candidates can obtain ePINs through the Remita website, mobile app, and authorized agents.
“The process involves generating a profile code by sending an SMS with their National Identification Number (NIN) to designate code which is then used to purchase ePIN via the company’s platform.

Remita cautioned against agents inflating prices without authorization, however, and reiterated that ePINs must be offered only at JAMB-approved prices, with offenders facing the proper sanctions.
To accommodate the demands of diverse applicants, JAMB has divided the registration fee into four distinct price systems.
A fair and open admissions process is promoted by Remita’s multi-channel payment infrastructure, which guarantees that students can finish their registration without interruption, no matter where they are.
