Cole Palmer will be registered for the Europa Conference League by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
The standout midfield player was not included in the campaign’s group stage.
Palmer will, however, be part of the team for the knockout stage during the second half of the season, according to report.
Trevoh Chalobah, a defender, has also been added to the roster following his loan return from Crystal Palace.
Regarding his original choice to leave Palmer out of their Euro run, Maresca stated in October: “We played some games without Cole, but Cole is something extra that you need.”
“We also need to consider protecting certain players.
That’s what they need. I believe Cole has to be protected, and there’s a reason for it.”
