Ryan Giggs, a veteran of Manchester United, hopes Marcus Rashford may rediscover his love of football at Aston Villa.
Last Sunday, Rashford departed United on loan to Villa for the remainder of the season.
“He doesn’t look like that now, but everyone will remember that smile and that enjoyment and freedom when he first came through,” Giggsy, 51, told The Sun.
Despite being a human, he doesn’t appear to be pleased. He seemed to be carrying the weight of the planet.
“He should play with the same freedom and joy that brought him to this point.”
In addition to recalling his first encounter with Rashford as a young player at United, Giggs, who is currently a director with Salford, said, “It was basically a small-sided, eight-versus-eight game.”
Marcus scored another goal after putting it in the bottom corner after eluding a few people.
Louis (van Gaal) and I simply exchanged glances before deciding that we had to choose this young man because he was too talented.
“Everyone will remember that smile, that excitement, and that freedom when he joined the first squad and naturally scored on his debut.
He possessed a little bit of everything.
He was fearless, courageous, and capable of taking on players and scoring goals of all kinds.
