Abdullahi Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State, has dismissed every political appointment from his administration.

This Friday, February 7, at a farewell meeting with the Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants, Governor Sule made the announcement in the Executive Council Chambers at Government House.

He informed them that some of them might still be reappointed in different roles and thanked them for all of their services and contributions to the advancement of the State.

IREPORT247NEW reports earlier that Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji who has a long history of devoted service to the state and well known for his vast knowledge in public administration and law practice was appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Nasarawa State with the approval of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The chairman and board members of the College of Education Akwanga, as well as the sole administrator of the Udege Development Area of the Nasarawa local government, were also inaugurated.

A list of 16 commissionership nominees has been forwarded to the state house of assembly for screening, according to the governor, who disbanded the state executive council in early January.
