Amorim: I Understand The Fact That I’m Risking My Job With United

After Manchester United decided not to buy a striker during the transfer window, manager Ruben Amorim acknowledged that his position is in jeopardy.

Amorim said that it was risky to adhere to his plan without bringing in more attacking players because United was in 13th place and had lost five of their previous six home games.

Prior to their FA Cup match against Leicester, he acknowledged that his position is under more strain as a result of their poor performance.

“I knew there was a risk of results when I chose this career,” Amorim stated.

Until the summer, we will continue to fight for our employment.

“When I first arrived, I looked at the club and the schedule, and I realized that my decision to make all of these changes in the middle of the season without making any new hires was risky for a coach.

But from day one, regardless of the outcome—whether positive or negative—I’ve known exactly what I want to do and I take these chances because I believe they will ultimately be worthwhile. But as I’ve stated numerous times, I’m not naive.

We are in a challenging position, and this is a sport of results.

However, I explained all the hazards to the board, who already knew.

I told the board about everything that had occurred, and they all said the same thing: “We need to start now and we are doing that already.”

However, I am aware that the current climate is quite difficult due to several losses, particularly at home.

Although we’re taking some chances, this is the course of action we want to take.

Turning things around in a few games is difficult.

We are taking that chance because we want a different team and different profiles, but it will be difficult until the end of the season. I made that choice.
