Following the announcement of his mother Kultida’s passing, Tiger Woods has paid tribute to his “biggest fan and greatest supporter.

“The 49-year-old former world number one Woods did not disclose the cause of his mother’s death, who was present at his TGL match in Florida last week.

Woods claimed that without his mother, who frequently attended his events and was there when he won his fifth Masters title in 2019, ending an 11-year drought to win a 15th major, none of his personal accomplishments would have been possible.

On social media, Woods, who lost his father Earl in 2006, posted, “It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning.”

“My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh.”

“She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible.”

“She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you Mom.”
