
Prince Enobong Uwah, the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the Organising Committee, announced in a statement on Wednesday that the awardees were nominated during the December 2024 Ministerial Briefings in recognition of their dedication and excellence.
The event will feature a performance by musician Flavour and will also recognise the best-performing local government areas from Christmas Unplugged 2024.
Governor Umo Eno will host the ARISE Happy Hour and Evening of Rewards on Thursday, giving ₦1 million to the state’s top-performing civil servants across ministries, departments, and agencies.
“The governor will honor and reward individuals and groups who have excelled in their respective fields, with a special focus on female youths, recognized as the state’s greatest cheerleaders in its support structure,” the statement read.
Adding that the celebration is in line with the state government’s commitment to rewarding excellence and empowering its people.
He listed highlights of the event to include ₦300 million to be disbursed to 400 trained female youths and ladies in White under the Ibom LED Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program, with each beneficiary receiving ₦750,000.
The top civil servants in all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies nominated at the December Ministerial Briefings will receive a ₦1,000,000 Eno in recognition of their commitment and excellence.
The top 50 winners of the Arise Home Farmers Scheme will each receive a ₦500,000 grant, and the top-performing Local Government Areas from Christmas Unplugged 2024 will be recognized and rewarded.
Other awards will be given to exceptional athletes from the 2024 Governor’s Cup.
