Engr. Udengs Eradiri, the Labour Party’s (LP) immediate past candidate for governor of Bayelsa State, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is responsible for all of the projects in his Agudiama/Ekpetiama village in the Yenagoa Local Government Area.

Eradiri, who registered for the APC in Ward 10 Constituency 2 of the Yenagoa Local Government Area, claimed that President Tinubu provided his town with solar lights, a one-kilometer road, potable water, and beach security through the Niger Delta Development Commission, or NDDC, which is directed by Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.

He claimed that the light-up project and other NDDC interventionist programs have benefited practically every village in the Niger Delta, including his own.

Eradiri claims that the NDDC, an agency of the Tinubu-led federal government, had also committed to completing more projects in his village, including renovating the secondary school and building a first-rate lodge for National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) members.

Eradiri, who was greeted by a large group of locals and APC members in his ward, claimed that the Niger Delta area had seen calm and steady advancement in its infrastructure development thanks to the Tantita Security Services and the Tinubu-backed NDDC.

For example, he stated that the President recently signed the bills creating the University of Technology and Environment in Ogoni and the Maritime University Bill into law, stating that they will contribute to strengthening the region’s already-existing peace.

The East-West Road’s ongoing construction has made tremendous progress, according to the former Commissioner for Youths and later Environment in Bayelsa. He said that Tinubu’s government, led by Dr. Dave Umahi, Minister of Works, had given the road more attention than previous administrations.

He claimed that given the President’s numerous contributions to his community and the Niger Delta through Tantita, the NDDC, and the Ministry of Petroleum, it was only fitting that he join Tinubu and collaborate with him in the APC to make sure his Renewed Hope Agenda was successful.

He affirmed that President Tinubu had good intentions for the Niger Delta and the nation, urged his hordes of supporters and all regional stakeholders to cooperate with the president, and thanked all Bayelsa APC members for welcoming him into the party. He also pledged to work with all party stakeholders to reposition the APC in the state and the nation.

In his own words: “The APC government has completed a water project in my hamlet that includes a one-kilometer road, solar lights, and shore protection. The APC government has also committed to completing additional projects, like as renovating our secondary school and building a corner lodge.

“Joining them and contributing to the party’s success is the best way to show gratitude for such leadership. Since I was a small child, I have respected President Tinubu, and this will give me the chance to work with him to make sure he succeeds and learn from him.

“He was one of the people who supported a reorganized Nigeria in 2006 when we went to the PRONACO sessions in Lagos. I participated in and supported the PRONACO Movement. This, in my opinion, is the ideal time to collaborate with him. We received the NDDC, the Ministry of Petroleum, and the Head of Service from the Tinubu administration. Because to his government’s efforts to provide light to the Niger Delta, crime has drastically decreased.

“The Tinubu administration is responsible for the Tantita project, which has attracted a lot of young people in Niger due to pipeline surveillance that has guaranteed an increase in oil output and a decrease in violence in the Niger Delta. There isn’t another way to express gratitude than to join a government that is doing well.

“The government is discussing tax reforms that will significantly reduce indolence and instill a sense of seriousness in governing. As states and local governments start to put in more effort, it will lead to innovation and creativity, provide jobs for youth, and spur growth and development.

“I see that Nigeria’s government has a lot to offer, and I won’t stand by and watch.” I would want to take part and make a contribution. I wish to be among those who took part in the nation’s rebirth and restructuring.
