Prospects for promotion in League Two Finn Ashworth, a 19-year-old midfielder, has joined Port Vale on loan from Wolves till the end of the current campaign.
Ashworth has made four appearances in the EFL Trophy since signing his first professional contract with Wolves in July 2024.
As he continues to grow, he has only ever played for the club’s Under-21 team.
“It isn’t a case of putting him straight into the action,” Darren Moore, the manager of Vale, stated.
“We’ll give him enough time to get comfortable.
As the season draws to a close, I hope he can contribute to our success.
Finn is a gifted young midfield player who has drawn a lot of attention.
We appreciate Wolves letting us continue to help him grow here at Vale Park. Being in and near the first-team environment will undoubtedly help him.
