For the remainder of the season, Chelsea loaned left-back Ben Chilwell to Crystal Palace.
The 28-year-old was informed last summer that he was not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans, and he hasn’t played in the Premier League since April 2024.
Chilwell is still open to a permanent move despite only making one Carabao Cup appearance this season.
Chilwell stated on the official Crystal Palace website, “I’m really excited to be here.”
“Crystal Palace is a team that is progressing nicely.
“When you consider the team’s performance and the outcomes over the past few months, coming here was an obvious choice.”
