Sergio Ramos, a legend of Real Madrid, is one step away from joining Monterrey.
Ramos has reached a personal agreement with Monterrey and is off contract after departing Sevilla last summer.
He is now expected in Mexico today to sign paperwork and undergo a medical examination.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, “Rayados to Sergio Ramos, here we go! He is scheduled to travel to Mexico for formal steps after signing the pre-contract today.
Ramos, who joined on a free transfer, will play in the Mexican league following his Sevilla chapter.
