Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim spoke about the club’s activities on deadline day, saying he was happy with the deals made.

He stated that the new signings meet the team’s demands and would provide depth to the roster.

Amorim also expressed confidence that the new players will contribute to the team’s future success. On Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Aston Villa impacting deadline day moves, he said: “We will see, there is one more day, let’s wait until the window is closed.”

He continued, when asked if it was awkward to loan Rashford to a higher-ranked team, “It is not shameful. When you loan a player, and I’m not sure if it’s formal, you expect him to play and progress, so there’s no humiliation involved. I understand the question, but my primary emphasis is on my players. So, when the opportunity shuts, I’ll be completely focused on our staff and how we can develop.”

He also commented on his team’s lack of goals, saying, “Yeah, we need to grow as a team to score goals, and we are doing everything we can to do so. This market is extremely difficult for clubs to operate in; making transactions here is difficult. Then there’s this sense of haste; sometimes when you’re in this situation, you make mistakes, and we try everything. We want to improve so much, and I know what the squad needs, but sometimes it’s doable or not, so we’re doing everything.”
