Ibrahima Konate of Liverpool reminded his teammates to “work so, so hard to keep going” as they aim for a victorious 2024–25 campaign.

After winning the league phase, Arne Slot’s team has guaranteed a seeded spot in the Champions League last 16.

They now intend to play Tottenham in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final later this week in order to make it to Wembley.

In a recent Reds matchday program, Konate said, “We have had a great start and everything is fine for us at the moment, even in the Champions League.”

But now that we’re in the second half of the season, I believe the most crucial thing is that we start over and put in even more effort.

We simply need to persevere till the very end since everyone wants to beat us, so we have to work hard.

It will be quite challenging, and we will need to put in a great deal of effort simply to stay composed and keep going.

“Obviously, this title (the Premier League) is the only one that has eluded me in England (domestically), and I sincerely hope that we will achieve that this season,” the No. 5 continued.

“We know that all of our supporters are rooting for us, and we must exert every effort to accomplish this.”
