Unidentified attackers killed three siblings in their Nnewichi, Nnewi, Anambra state, home, and then kept their bodies in a deep freezer.

On that fateful day, their mother, Mrs. Chikazor Ejezie, who is reportedly a lecturer and a nurse, left the house to take an exam, leaving behind their eldest sibling, a nine-year-old girl named Ejezie Chikaima Daviana, a second daughter named Ejezie Chimziterem Dominica, who was seven years old, and their only son, Ejezie Chimdilim David, who was five years old.

The mother found the front door of the home open when she got back from the exam, which was odd because the kids typically locked the doors when they went outside to play.

Mr. Ejezie Udochukwu, the father of the departed siblings, who resides in Irrua, Edo State, stated that he had to travel quickly to Nnewichi after receiving a call from his wife on Saturday, February 1, informing him of the event.

He said, “When my wife got home, she didn’t see the children. She and others searched for them, even at the church where they served as altar boys and girls, but they weren’t there. My wife told me after searching for the kids by herself and a search party, without success, in despair the deep freezer was opened and behold, the dead bodies of the kids were there.”

“In the house, bungalow where we live with two tenants and the landlord, the kids were eating when the assailants stormed the house at about noon as there were traces of food in plates that were forcefully abandoned.

“The corpses of the kids have been deposited at a morgue and the police, CPS Nnewi, is where we reported the matter, and the police are investigating. You can see that I am completely devastated. My three kids killed same time by yet to be identified assailants.”

SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the state police public relations officer, confirmed the incident and stated that CP Nnaghe Itam, the commissioner of police, had ordered a thorough investigation.
