Marcus Rashford’s banishment from Manchester United is apparently putting an end to his dreams of landing a dream move to Barcelona.
According to reports, Rashford, a forward for Wantaway United, has set his sights on joining Barcelona after being cut from the first squad by head coach Ruben Amorim. However, with a recent development, the 27-year-old could have to search elsewhere.
A deal for Rashford is ‘very unlikely’ for Barca because of their financial fair play problems. He says that once Jhon Duran moved to Al-Nassr, Aston Villa had inquired about the Red Devils player.
Rashford, whose contract at United runs until 2028, has not played for United for nearly two months now after falling out of favour under Amorim.
Rashford, who has also been connected to Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, has until 11 p.m. Monday to complete his United exit before the transfer window closes.
