
The District Head of Zazzau, Alhaji Rilwan Yahaya Pate, slumped and died on Thursday while attending an event in Kaduna.
He was alongside the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, at the time of the incident.
Unfortunately, he passed away at the Gambo Sawaba General Hospital, Kofar Gayan, Zaria
The Zazzau Emirate Council has confirmed his passing, describing him as a hardworking, dedicated, and religious individual whose absence will be deeply felt.
The Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, offered his condolences, saying “death is inevitable and can come whenever Allah destined” ¹.Alhaji Rilwan Yahaya Pate’s remains were buried at Rimin Dodo on Thursday evening.
He served not only as the District Head but also as the Councillor in charge of Health Related Matters for the Zazzau Emirate Council .
