

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, today, commenced the massive infrastructural transformation of the newly approved Samuel Ladoke Akintola International Airport, Ibadan with the foundation laying of the international terminal amongst other projects.
The Governor’s initiative and commitment is believed to be a bold step towards enhancing the aviation sector in the region and positively transforming the economic and social life of Oyo State.
This development is expected to improve both local and international connectivity, boost local tourism, and create jobs.

It is also expected to improve the revenue generation of the state and bring about comprehensive economic development.
