The FA has reprimanded Arsenal for the behavior of its players after Myles Lewis-Skelly’s contentious red card against Wolves.
Referee Michael Oliver threw out the 18-year-old for what was considered “serious foul play” when he challenged Matt Doherty.
Arsenal’s players are accused of violating FA regulations by encircling Oliver, despite the fact that the red card had been rescinded.
Due of his complaints, Jurrien Timber was given a yellow card, and Arsenal won the game 1-0.
The club can appeal the charge until February 3.
“Arsenal FC has been charged after its players surrounded a match official during their Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on Saturday, 25 January,” a representative for the FA stated.”
“The club is accused of failing to make sure that its players weren’t acting inappropriately during the forty-third minute. Monday, February 3rd, is the deadline for Arsenal FC to respond.”
