Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri was overjoyed with his man-of-the-match performance in his Champions League debut.
The 17-year-old shined in Girona, hitting a fantastic goal to secure his fourth straight victory.
Nwaneri found it odd to be in the lineup and hear the renowned Champions League anthem after watching European matches on TV.
On his dream night, Nwaneri stated, “It’s one of the highest probably because it’s the Champions League, which I’ve loved and watched since I was a child.”
“So, being here and winning Man of the Match on my debut is a great experience. I’m happy.”
