LASU Set To Introduce E-meeting Platform

Lagos State University has launched a cutting-edge program called “LASU Talkspace,” which is designed to support e-conferences, e-meetings, and e-seminars.

The unique platform, created by the university’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, led by Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, seeks to provide a dependable and safe alternative to popular virtual conference platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.

According to a DICT announcement, the LASU Talkspace App has been approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, and is now available for usage by the university community and the general public.

“Staff members can access the platform for free by entering their actual LASU staff email address.”

“The general public can also use the LASU Talkspace App by subscribing to the service and paying the applicable cost, which varies based on the type of service desired.”

“It further stated that the launch of LASU Talkspace demonstrated the university’s commitment to embracing technology and cultivating a more connected and collaborative community.”
