Aston Villa are set to pursue a loan move for Joao Felix before the transfer window closes, according to talkSPORT. The Chelsea forward is strongly targeted by Unai Emery’s side.

Villa has made a strong start to the month with two key signings: Donyell Malen and Andres Garcia. According to talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs, Villa is actively pursuing a deal for Joao Felix ahead of the transfer deadline on February 3. Chelsea is reportedly open to offers for the 25-year-old, who made his permanent return from Atletico Madrid this summer. However, Villa’s pursuit may face challenges due to interest in another Chelsea player.

Aston Villa has successfully agreed terms with Axel Disasi and is set to secure a loan deal for one of the two players during the current transfer window. The French defender is preferred, and it looks likely he will join the squad, despite interest from Wolves.

Additionally, negotiations regarding Felix are ongoing, though no o
fficial offer has been submitted yet. The Portuguese international signed a contract until 2030, with an option for an additional year after his impressive £43 million arrival last summer.

Felix has been doing great lately, netting seven goals and contributing two assists in 20 appearances while playing under Enzo Maresca. It’s worth noting, however, that he’s only had three starts in the Premier League so far. Keep an eye on him!

It’s interesting to note that Disasi hasn’t had the chance to start in any of the Blues’ last four league matches, even with Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile out due to injuries. Let’s hope he gets a shot soon!

It looks like the former Monaco player is currently sitting behind Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Trevoh Chalobah in the lineup. However, he could really help out Emery with some injury issues in the center-back position, especially since Tyrone Mings had to leave the match against West Ham on Sunday due to a knee injury. This leaves Ezri Konsa as the only fit first-team player available for Villa, and unfortunately, Pau Torres won’t be back until March.
