Mukaila Senwele, an entertainer from Lagos who was from the Esinrogunjo family compound in Ilorin West Local Government Area, passed away on Friday night after performing at his former instructor Moshood Pakata’s birthday party.

In Ilorin, Kwara State, he was laid to rest in the Muslim Cemetery. The 38-year-old was buried on Saturday and was well-known for his distinctive comedic acts.

According to reports, Mukaila was healthy before he passed away. He was happy all day, talking to admirers and making plans to go to his family home later in the evening, according to a family member.

Unfortunately, despite attempts to get him to the hospital right away, he unexpectedly passed away. The stage manager for the late singer, Ibrahim Toyeeb, refuted reports that Mukaila passed away while on stage.

He explained, “We eat and performed Asr prayers together. We all sat down together and suddenly around 5 pm, he said Ha! and gave up. That was all and we quickly rushed him to the hospital but he was already dead before we got there.”

Many people admired Mukaila, also known as “Omo Taye Nfe,” for his sense of humour and ability to entertain.

He had recorded two songs prior to his passing, one of which was made public the day he passed away.

Fans, relatives, and admirers are in shock over his passing, and many are lamenting the passing of a gifted and adored performer.
