Former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood is being tipped to make a big-money move with Marseille expected to double their investment.
Greenwood joined Marseille in the summer from Manchester United in a cut-price deal reportedly worth €30 million (£25m/$34m). Since his move to the Ligue 1 side, Greenwood has been a big success scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 20 games with Marseille.
Greenwood currently sits at the top of the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts ahead of players including Jonathan David, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele.
Marseille fans adore Greenwood the player as he has played a pivotal part in leading them to second place in the Ligue 1 standings and it is unlikely that the French club will want to lose out on the 23-year-old’s service in the summer. However, if a big enough transfer bid does arrive as suggested by Holt, Marseille will definitely not play spoilsport.
