In connection with the National Social Safety Nets Project in Nigeria, two Nigerian companies, Viva Atlantic Limited and Technology House Limited, as well as their managing director and chief executive officer, Mr. Norman Bwuruk Didam, have been barred by the World Bank Group for 30 months for engaging in corrupt, collusive, and fraudulent activities.

In a 2018 procurement procedure, the apex bank revealed that serious infractions of its Anticorruption Framework were discovered during its inquiry.

The businesses and Mr. Didam were discovered to have obtained private tender information from public officials and to have falsely disclosed conflicts of interest in bid submissions.

Moreover, Viva Atlantic Limited and its CEO filed fraudulent authorization letters, gave inducements to project officials, and misrepresented experience records.
