In an attempt to refute the N12.3 billion fraud charge, Oba Otudeko, the chairman of the Honeywell Group’s attorney, appeared before a Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday.

The court was informed by Mr. Bode Olanipekun (SAN) that he was protesting because Otudeko had not received the charge, and two other people were also accused.

The three defendants’ council is called Olanipekun.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought the 13-count indictment against Otudeko, Olabisi Onasanya, a former managing director of FirstBank Plc, and Soji Akintayo, a former board member of Honeywell.

They were charged with Anchorage Leisure Ltd.

The accused allegedly received the money using deceptive means, according to the EFCC.
