Afrobeat musician Davido has been accused by controversial street musician Portable of living a “fake life” and deceiving him with his counsel.
In a recent video, Portable asserts that Davido suggested Empire Records as an alternative to Sony Music and cautioned him against signing with the latter.
Portable claims that he later learned that Davido is financially benefited by his contract with Sony Music.
Additionally, according to Portable, Davido overstated the value of a watch, saying it was worth $100 million when it was only $30,000.
Portable said, “You gave me bad advice in Atlanta. Did you pay for my flight? You told me not to go to Sony but to join Empire, saying Azaké is there.
“I shared the advice with my promoter, only to find out Davido is with Sony and getting paid well.”
“Fake love, fake life. You’ll buy a chain for $30,000 and claim it’s worth $100 million. Your fake life and fake love will harm you. Big Wizzy, God bless you.”
