Ogun State Deputy Governor Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has denied rumors circulating on social media that she was assaulted by the demonstrators from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta.

She said, “If I had been attacked, I would not have gone to attend the program at Alamala, but I went when I was told they had gone.”

“I just want all of us to be careful of social media, as it has caused many people calling me to ask after me on reading or hearing the news.,” Salako-Oyedele said.

She encouraged the students to always talk to each other and deal with problems in a calm manner.

Earlier, the rector, Arc Jolaoso, stated that the management had come to apologize on behalf of the students and asked her to pardon them.
