Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has agreed an extension to his contract with the club, which will see him remain the highest-paid player in history.
It has been revealed, the economic issue is another important factor, as the striker has renewed for one season in exchange for 183 million euros, that is, 15.25 million per month, 3.8 million per week and 550,000 per day, which still places him at the top of the salary of footballers around the world.
The 39-year-old has been linked with a few clubs, including Al-Hilal where Neymar Jr is currently playing, It is, however, being claimed that Ronaldo wants to compete with them, rather than represent them.
Ronaldo has scored 81 goals in 90 appearances for Al-Nassr and has already become a centurion in the goal department at previous clubs Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The 39-year-old will also become an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia in a nine-year deal.
FIFA confirmed last month that the nation will host the tournament for the first time after running uncontested.
The 25th edition of the World Cup is set to be held between January and February in the next 7 years.
The club’s leaders, in an attempt to demonstrate their admiration and satisfaction with what CR7 has been doing since his arrival in Riyadh, have offered him five percent of the ownership of the club, a historic Saudi sports entity that is undergoing a structural change, with the arrival of a new CEO and president in recent months.
