It seems some people do not want the statue of the ex-president of Ghana, Akufo Addo visible in Takoradi.
According to the reports we received through a phone conversation with our correspondence in Ghana, the statue has been destroyed again but this time around, it was completely dismantled.
Recall that on December 16, 2024 the leg of the statue was destroyed and it was fixed days later but it seems some people were only waiting for him to become an Ex-President so they can carry out their mission effectively.
It’s unknown who the group are but our sources indicate that it was done by some angry youth at dawn when no one was watching.
