Barcelona are ready to go ‘all in’ on signing Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United before the end of January.
Barcelona are interested in signing Rashford in January after meeting the 1:1 rule in La Liga, which allows them to strengthen during the winter window.
Barcelona is thought to have selected the England star as a target and intends to loan him until June 30. It is unclear whether United will agree to such a trade, and AC Milan is also interested.
If Barcelona wants to sign Rashford, they will need to clear payroll space first. Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo, and Ansu Fati are all considered expendable by the club, and their January departures would allow them to sign United’s exiled ace.
Rashford has not played in the Premier League since December 7, when United lost 3-2 to Nottingham Forest. Since then, he has appeared on the bench once and has been left out of the squad on four times.
United are looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani as a possible replacement for Rashford.United will meet Arsenal in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
On Thursday, they will face Southampton in the Premier League. Rashford is unlikely to participate in either game
