Daniel Daga, a Nigerian youth, has allegedly passed his medical exam ahead of his move from Enyimba International FC to FK Molde.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a breakout year under Ladan Bosso’s coaching, playing an important role in the Flying Eagles’ midfield and helping the side reach the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
This excellent performance has not gone unnoticed, as several big European clubs are allegedly interested in signing him.
Now, the Norwegians have reached an agreement with him.Daga was caught in a social media post wearing one of the club’s training uniforms with jersey number 28 while getting a physical before his debut European season.
Multiple reports now confirm that the young midfielder has passed his medical, and the club is likely to make an official announcement soon.
For Daga, this is the start of a larger dream. He had previously expressed interest in various European clubs, including Watford FC, Club Brugge, and others.
“Yeah, many clubs [are interested], Many clubs apart from AC Milan, Liverpool, Anderlecht. Many other clubs are looking for me – Watford, Club Brugge, and in Denmark, Midtjylland.” He said as earlier quoted by Liverpool Echo.
He joins the 5th-place Eliteserien team after signing a pre-contract agreement in 2024, hoping to make a significant effect for the club, which could lead to bigger clubs approaching him.
