Three people were hurt in a late-night collision at Abule Ojo Junction, close to Alagbole, Ogun State, according to confirmation from the Ogun State Police Command.

The information was revealed in a statement issued on Friday by the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola.

She claims that a Lexus Jeep with registration number KTU 287 JS and an unregistered motorcycle were involved in the collision, which happened on Wednesday at around 10 p.m.

Odutola said, “The public reported an accident involving a Lexus Jeep and a motorcycle at Abule Ojo Junction, Alagbole, Ogun, to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ajuwon Division.”

She clarified that the motorcycle was struck by the Jeep, which was dangerously driving from Akute toward Alagbole. Two passengers and the rider were injured in various ways in the collision.

“The injured victims were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while the driver of the Lexus Jeep fled the scene,” Odutola stated.

In order to restore traffic flow, police officials have since pulled the damaged automobiles from the scene of the accident in cooperation with Vehicle Inspection officials (VIO). The pursuit of the fugitive driver is still being investigated.

To stop such incidents, the Command advised drivers to be cautious and follow traffic laws.
