The foundation of any electoral process’s acceptability is its credibility. Your behavior must be consistent with the highest standards of responsibility and integrity.

Additionally, the governor encouraged the populace to actively participate in the commission’s planned LG elections. In the state’s Somolu, Kosofe, and Lagos Mainland Local Government Areas, Sanwo-Olu also unveiled five additional new roads.

He urged the populace to maintain the improved roads and the restoration of St. Finbarr’s College Road, Asani, Tijani Ashogbon, Jagunmolu, Shogbamu, and Diya streets.

On Thursday, Sanwo-Olu opened roads on Oba Dosumu Street, Oduduwa Way, Oduduwa Crescent, Sobo Arobiodu, and Sasegbon Streets, claiming that the areas hold historical, cultural, and educational value for the state.

The governor stated in a statement released on Friday by Gboyega Akosile, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, that “We have kicked off this year on a note of project commissioning, and this is how we intend to carry on throughout the year.

The 2025 Appropriation Bill, which I signed into law yesterday, cleared the path for the implementation of a budget that now exceeds N3 trillion.

“Lagosians should therefore expect an immediate scaling-up of the focus on infrastructure; the completion of existing projects and commencement of work on new ones. No part of the state will be left out; we will continue to ensure that this development is equitably distributed.’’

Therefore, Lagos residents should anticipate an instant increase in the emphasis on infrastructure, including the completion of current projects and the start of new ones. We will continue to make sure that this progress is dispersed fairly throughout the entire state.

Olufemi Daramola, the Special Advisor to the Lagos State Governor on Infrastructure, had earlier stated that the projects are in line with the administration’s THEMES Plus agenda in addition to being an essential component of the state’s infrastructure master plan.
