Manchester City is ‘on the verge’ of signing Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens for up to €50 million.
According to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger, City has made a proposal of £41.8 million ($51.5 million) for the Lens defender, and the highly regarded 20-year-old is interested in the transfer. This seems like the Cityzens’ first signing of 2025.
Several City players have been injured this season, including Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, John Stones, and Manuel Akanji. Pep Guardiola’s side is now looking to reinforce their ranks with Uzbekistan centre-back Khusanov.
