Abubakar Sani Bello, the senator for Niger North and the former governor of Niger State, has given out starter kits to 177 trained recipients of the Skills Acquisition Program.

At the Kontagora local government area in Niger State, the senator gave a presentation to the attendees from all eight of Niger North’s local government districts. He claimed that its goal was to enable the recipients to become financially independent.

As part of a larger plan to support sustainable development and financial independence, Senator Sani Bello reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the lives of his citizens by encouraging productivity.

Additionally, he underlined his commitment to delivering the benefits of democracy by implementing significant projects that tackle pressing issues in the district.

“These projects are a testament to my resolve to uplift the living standards of the people in Niger North because they are not isolated efforts but rather part of a sustainable development framework that aligns with federal government policies to drive economic growth and bridge infrastructure gaps,” he said.

Important infrastructure improvements and skill-building programs in carpentry, painting, tailoring, hair salons, catering, and poultry are among the projects and abilities gained.

Mohammed Yusuf, who represents the program’s beneficiaries, expressed hope that they would take advantage of the senator’s possibilities to assist the constituents.
