Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has raised the alarm over the nefarious activities of bandits in the state.
Saying bandits could be hibernating in different locations in the state.
Governor Makinde hinted this during the year 2025 Oyo Civil Servants Thanksgiving Service, held at the government secretariat Agodi, Ibadan.
Narrating his experience, Makinde recounted receiving security intel that bandits are operating from a hideout camp in the Fashola area of the state. A very close distance to where he was during his birthday break last December.
The Governor also queried the worrisome unchecked migration of bandits to the Southern parts of Nigeria.
