Governor Sule of Nasarawa State dissolves the Executive Council and fires all commissioners and advisers.
The state executive council, which included commissioners, senior special advisers, special advisers, and personal assistants, was disbanded by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, who also fired Barrister Muhammad Aliyu-Ubamdoma, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The dissolution will take effect on Friday, January 3, 2025, according to a statement signed by Mohammed Illiyasu-Idde, Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and Special Duties, Office of the SSG.
As a result of this development, all departing commissioners are required to turn over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective ministries all government property and the business of their ministries.
It said, “The Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and Special Services will take over from the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State.”
According to the statement, the governor wished all of the departing appointees luck in their future endeavors and thanked them for their efforts to the state.
