A distressed mother whose seven-year-old daughter was abducted in Ogun has been requested N40,000 by Nigerian police.

The police officials announced that the negligent officers had been taken into custody and would be subject to disciplinary measures.

The Ogun State Police Command has been investigating the issue of the missing girl from Otta. We’ll find the girl right now.

Additionally, police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi said in a statement on Saturday that the officers who requested money before they could handle the matter had been arrested and detained for disciplinary action.

The officers’ behavior was characterized by the police as “inhuman, apathetic, and unprofessional.”

The reported case of Mercy Akande, the kidnapped girl, led to the officers’ arrest. In Ogun, she was kidnapped this week.
